Leaders AA Gent sweep Anderlecht aside 4-0, pressure mounts on Vítor Bruno

AA Gent responded to two painful defeats with a convincing 4-0 win over Anderlecht and stay top, De Standaard reports. The players proved they can take a knock, the paper writes. Het Nieuwsblad notes that the Planet Group Arena was sold out for the first time in years. Club Brugge beat STVV thanks to a Nicolò Tresoldi hat-trick and Union came from behind to beat Cercle 5-2.

In Brussels the crisis is deepening. Sporza's Peter Vandenbempt calls the situation very worrying, and Het Nieuwsblad explains from the inside why Anderlecht are not dismissing coach Vítor Bruno for now, and how long that can last.
